Precision was critical on a challenging horizontal directional drilling (HDD) project involving the installation of 42-inch steel pipe with extremely tight tolerances. 

Our Guidance team used gyro technology and the At-Bit Inclination Assembly (ABIA) to maintain the accuracy required throughout the bore. By providing precise inclination data directly at the bit, the ABIA played an important role in keeping the bore within tolerance and successfully reaching the target.
